Say What!

“We’ve won nine races but it’s been a heck of a struggle this year,,It’s been really tough, but we’ve finally hit on some things that gave me some feel and started to give me some comfort in the car. (Jeff Walker) and Nic (Mansker) have been working their tails off. I’ve been driving J-Dub nuts all year just trying to get comfortable. Tires change and things change, and I just lost the feel for the car. We could win races but it was only when the track kind of fell into our favor. Tonight is really what we had struggled with all year – slick to a curb on the wall, which is what I love to do, so that’s been super frustrating. I’ve been beating my head against the wall, and it feels like we’ve finally figured it out in time to roll into next year.”Justin Grant winning Meeker OK USAC Sprints Saturday

“Definitely awesome to do it close to home, I drive 20, 30 minutes home and I get to sleep in my own bed tonight.” Sam Hafertepe Jr winning RPM Speedway TX ASCS Saturday

"This Tarlton Motorsports team needed this really bad!The last four nights we've been rebuilding race cars, so I got a little excited there because the last couple of races, I've ended up on my head. I'm just glad that Drew Warner (crew chief) and the guys never give up; they easily could be down on me or vice versa; we're just a good group of guys and having a lot of fun." Cole Macedo winning Hanford CA NARC

"This is a testament to everyone associated with this #0 car, and they've given me a bad fast race car all year long, We're inching our way to my old man's (all-time NARC winner Brent Kaeding) number, so hopefully we can do it in the next couple of years."  Tim Kaeding winning Kern County CA NARC

“I was nervous,A lot of those double-file restarts, I didn’t know where to be. The top was kind of where the grip was, but I didn’t want to be too high and miss it and not get off (Turn) 4 nice then him (David Gravel) beat me down into Turn 1.Carson Macedo winning Riverside Speedway AR World of Outlaws

“We sucked all night, We qualified decent but we weren’t very good. We made wholesale changes there for the feature and it slowed down enough to where we could idle the bottom and nobody else could hold it down there.” Matt Westfall winning Meeker OK USAC Sprints

  • VSS)Langley Speedway Hampton, Va. October 26th, Jerald Harris and Langley Speedway have been a good match this year as he swept all three races at the Tidewater area speed plant. Heats kicked off the night right after the popular annual Halloween Trick or Treat event with the kids right before the races started and those were won by Chris Humblet and Jerald Harris. Chris Humblet and Matt Mullins paced the field to green with Humblet out first Mullins falling in behind. Harris swept around the outside line making it quickly to third as the fast pace saw laps flying by. On lap seven Harris made his move to second and took off after a strong running Humblet. After a quick yellow for a spin the field took off with Harris all over Humblet it took a couple of laps but Humblet pushed in turn four and Harris pounced getting under Humblet and in to the lead. Harris stayed fast as Humblet stayed close with Mullins right there but Jerald Harris shot under a waving checkered flag to finish off the season. At the line it was Jerald Harris, Chris Humblet, Matt Mullins, Bill Mullis, Daren Bolac, Aaron Leach, Matthew Leach, Chase Burrow, John Smith, Chris Ware and Jimmy Humblet. Reutzel beat the All Stars at the Illinois oval back in 2018 and 2019 and was prepared to face off with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars as the Series returned for the first time since 2017. Five years since his last race at the track. The country’s toughest competition. Could Reutzel rise to the occasion and make it three straight at Dirt Oval 66? Absolutely he could. Reutzel earned the pole for Friday’s main event and never looked back during the 25-lapper. A sketchy restart and late lapped traffic created some drama, but ultimately neither were enough to derail the Ridge & Sons Racing driver. Reutzel fended off a final lap charge from David Gravel to secure his third consecutive win in Joliet.World of Outlaws 10/18
