Mercer raceway will celebrate the 74th anniversary of the
speedway in 2025 by hosting 5 high paying 410 sprint shows that
will feature THREE different sanctioning bodies. The Aaron Fry
owned FAST 410 sprint car series will host 2 of the events
including the “Vern and Fumiko “Mike” Hawley memorial. The
Hawley name runs rich in the area as Vern owned and promoted
Hickory Speedway and also gave Mercer a rebirth in 1989. Son
Jimmy is a Hall of Fame sprint car driver who amassed many
victories in his long storied career, including a return to
racing last year in the event run in memory of his cousin.

prize during the 2025 edition of NOS Energy Drink USAC Indiana
Sprint Week Presented By Honest Abe Roofing. The 38th annual
event will consist of seven events at seven different Hoosier
state dirt tracks between July 25 and August 2. Furthermore,
each of the seven feature events will pay $8,000-to-win during

November 23-24. Rain has forced cancellation of the originally

scene in and around Michigan was floundering with no true
regional 360 Sprint Car Tour offering teams and fans a place to
race. By 2016, Barry Marlow had formed the Great Lakes Super
Sprints (GLSS) - a 360ci exclusive Tour with races in Michigan
the first season before expanding in the years to come. In 2023,
the Great Lakes Super Sprints acquired the NRA Sprint Invaders
expanding its footprint event further into the Ohio and Indiana
region. Now, in 2025, the Ohio CAT/Michigan CAT Great Lakes

career year for Kaleb Johnson, who accomplished a pair of
dreams. Johnson capitalized on consistency throughout the season

the most out of every driver in every division at the track in

mourning the loss of one of its greatest car owners, Joe Harz of
Elmer, New Jersey. Harz passed away recently at the age of 77.
The Garden State owner fielded the notable yellow No. 88H sprint
car at Williams Grove and in the region for the better part of
18 seasons, spanning portions of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

victory in his own backyard, winning BAPS Motor Speedway’s
Sprint Showdown worth $10,000 on Saturday, November 16. The
“Jonestown Jet” led every circuit of the 30-lap program,
mastering spurts of lapped traffic perfectly to keep Chase
Dietz, Logan Schuchart, and Danny Dietrich at bay. A heat race

Selinsgrove Speedway PA)The Selinsgrove
Speedway will be back in action for the 2025 racing season.
After an abbreviated 2024 season, the track, that first opened
in 1946, will be operated by a new promotional team. Snyder
County Dirt (SCD) Management Group llc has entered into a lease
agreement with the Selinsgrove Fair Board ensuring the speedway
will remain in operation. Paula Schick, Jenna Mowery and Colin
Rice will head up the SCD Group and is planning a Friday April
11th, Grand Reopening with 410 Sprint Cars and Late Models on
the schedule and conclude with a fireworks display. There will
also be a practice day before the season gets underway.

Champions is back. The oldest winged sprint car series will
return to action in 2025 with a full schedule, including Ohio
Sprint Speedweek. Every lap of every All Star Circuit of
Champions race will be streamed live on FloRacing, the official
streaming partner of the series. High Limit Racing acquired the
All Star Circuit of Champions at the conclusion of the 2023
racing season. While the series did not compete in 2024, High
Limit Racing co-founders Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson, have
partnered with Fremont Speedway’s promoter, Rich Farmer, to
reinstate the regional series and continue Ohio Sprint Speedweek.

Canada’s Aaron Willison finds himself in a familiar position at
the BITNILE Open Wheel Showdown Las Vegas, where the 2023
$50,000 race winner has earned the pole for Saturday’s 2024
edition after Willison snared the 10-lap Firstline Systems Pole
Shuffle. Willison was one of six 12-lap heat race winners on the

Steve Huggins)Legendary camshaft
manufacturer Steve Huggins from Olive Branch, Mississippi has
unexpectedly passed away at age 70. The innovative camshaft
specialist, who’s products almost completely dominated
360-winged sprint car racing Championships and the winners
circle in the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) and United
Sprint Car Series (USCS) and other series over the last three
decades passed away in his home on Thursday, November 7th. Steve
Huggins had been in the camshaft business for over fifty years,
with his initial experience gained at Cam Dynamics in the early
1970s. He started his own company, Huggins Cams forty years ago
in 1984 Huggins not only dominated in 360-winged sprint car
racing, but had a wide foot print in all forms of dirt track
racing including 410-winged and non-winged sprints plus Late
Model, Modified and Stock Car Racing. United Sprint Car Series
Founder and President, Pete Walton said” Steve Huggins will be
sorely missed in the performance racing industry. Steve and
Huggins Cams has previously been, and currently are contingency

Thomas Jr.’s most recent visit to Arizona’s Mohave Valley
Raceway back in April of this year resulted in a victory. The
Cullman, Ala. kept the winning ways rolling during the opening

2025 season in a joint effort between Team Arizona Racing, Petty
Performance Racing and Phil Rossi. Leary (Greenfield, Ind.) is
coming off a season in which he finished fourth in the USAC
Silver Crown standings, his third consecutive top-four points
finish with the series. The 2015 USAC Silver Crown Rookie of the
Year owns three wins in the series, at Terre Haute (2016),
