Monday, Oct. 29,
2007, at the VA
Medical Center in
Dayton, after
complications due to
a recent surgery.
Hartman was a former
Late Model racer and
brother to superstar
Late Model racer
Butch Hartman and
uncle to racer Bart
Hartman. He was also
an avid motorcyclist
all of his life and
a veteran of the
United States Marine
Corps.

Late Models will

Late Model division
will
be based on
economical motor
rules with certain
restrictions. Teams
will
be allowed to use GM
602 or 604 engines.
